A Family Photo Shoot in Worcester Park, KT4
At the end of September I spent a really fun Saturday morning photographing this family of four. We started their family session at their home in Worcester Park, and then went on to a local park to capture some outdoor photographs in the early autumn sunshine.
Before each session I spend time discussing the shoot with each family, and understanding what it is that they’re hoping for from their shoot. In this case what the family most wanted from the time we spent at their home were for me to capture the children’s personality and the fun they usually have at home. So, as well as capturing some portraits of the family as a whole, and in smaller groups, we also had a little fun!
After spending an hour or so at home, we jumped in the car and drove to a nearby park. We had chosen this location because it’s a spot that the family visit often and they have lots of happy memories there; it was the natural choice for their shoot. Heading outdoors was also great for the children as it meant they could stretch their legs and explore.

I really enjoyed this shoot, and I hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing some of my favourites from our morning together.
Now that you’ve seen both photographs at home, and outdoors which location would you choose for your family? I’d love to know – let me know in the comments below.
