Today I'm sharing this gorgeous baby boy's newborn session with you. He was 11 days old on the day of his session, and absolutely adorable!
11 days old is a perfect time for a newborn photo shoot. The ideal time is usually when your baby is aged between 5 and 14 days. At this stage babies are typically sleepy and settled, and enjoy being curled in the foetal position. This means they're usually very comfortable in the newborn photography poses.
This little boy was really settled during his session and slept for most of the way through. When he did wake up for a feed I took the opportunity to take a couple of photographs of him awake. It's always lovely to capture newborn's expressions when they're awake! I've put together some more of my favourites from this baby boy's session here, and I hope you enjoy seeing them.
