Twickenham Newborn Photography
Most babies spend at least part of their session awake, but this little girl snoozed peacefully all the way through!
Before each session I’ll chat to the family about the colours and tones they would like to use in their shoot, so that the session can be tailored to them and their expectations. I have a range of soft, neutral blankets and wraps at my studio in white, cream, taupe, greys and soft pink and it’s always so interesting to learn which appeal most to each family. If you’re thinking of displaying some of your gorgeous newborn photographs on the walls at home, it can be especially helpful to consider the decor of your home when we’re choosing colours for your baby’s session.
For this baby girl’s session we settled on this lovely taupe colour, and cream. I’ll usually change the colours over around half-way through the session – which is exactly what I did for this baby girl’s session.
At the end of each session I’ll also take family photographs, and sibling photographs if a family has older children. Sometimes families choose to invite grandparents along for this part of the session too.
As I was preparing to take the family portraits, baby was snoozing away in her daddy’s arms, and I couldn’t resist capturing one more portrait of her looking very relaxed and peaceful:
I hope that you’ve enjoyed seeing some of my favourite photographs from this newborn baby girl’s session. If you’re thinking about booking a newborn photo shoot it’s best to get in touch to book your session before your baby is born as I can be booked up weeks or months in advance.
