Spring Family Photo Shoots In Surrey
Hello – I’m Clare, a family and baby photographer based in East Molesey in Surrey.
I photograph families across Surrey and South West London, and specialise in natural, relaxed outdoor family photography.
You might be here because you’re thinking about booking a spring family photo shoot. I’m sure you’ll want to choose the best photographer for your family, and on this page you can see some of my work from springtime sessions, and find out a little more about having a shoot with me.
If you have any other questions or would like to chat about having your family photographed please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
A Relaxed, Enjoyable Family Photography Experience
Family life can be hectic so my aim for every family is to keep your photo shoot experience as relaxed and easy for you as possible.
I provide a full-service experience, and will guide you through every step so that you feel prepared for your session and have a relaxed and enjoyable experience on the day, and have beautiful ways to display and enjoy your photographs afterwards.
My style of family photography is natural and relaxed, so you don’t have to worry about feeling awkward or being made to do lots of cheesy posing!
I work quickly and aim to make every session fun for the children; as a mum of two I’m well versed in getting the best out of young children, and I’m also on hand in the run up to each session to help parents prepare so that we get the very best out of our time together.
Planning Your Spring Family Photo Shoot in Surrey
As soon as you’ve booked your session, the planning begins. The first thing we’ll normally do is talk about what you’re hoping for from the session so that I can tailor it to your family, and choose a location together.
You may already have somewhere in mind for your session, but please don’t worry if you don’t! Over the years I’ve got to know a number of beautiful locations in Surrey, and when we discuss your ideas for the session we can work out which location is the best fit for your family.
You may be particularly keen to have bluebells or blossom as a backdrop to your photographs, and we can talk about what usually blooms when, and where. Some popular springtime options are Claremont Landscape Garden and Winkworth Arboretum.
In the run up to your session I’ll also share lots of practical hints and tips, including advice on the best clothes to wear for spring family photographs. I can also arrange for a professional hair and makeup artist to come to your home before the session should you wish.

The Day Of Your Family Photography Session
On the day of your session we’ll usually spend between one and two hours together, and I’ll guide you through the session to make sure we capture your family at your best.
From where to stand or sit, to what to do I’ll give you lots of guidance so that you don’t have to worry about feeling awkward. I’ll also have plenty of games up my sleeves to keep your little ones entertained.
My goal is to capture the energy and personality of your family…without any cheesy grins or awkward posing!

After Your Family Photo Shoot
A week or two after your session you’ll be able to view the fully edited photographs from your session, and choose what you would like to order.
At this stage you’ll have the option to purchase the high resolution digital files to print yourself, or to choose from a carefully curated range of wall art and albums. This means that you can choose the right combination of products for your family.
This is when you place your order and pay for your photographs. Digital images are delivered 48 hours after payment is received and printed items will be delivered to your door 4-6 weeks later.
