East Molesey Newborn Photographer
In June I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous fifteen day old baby girl. She had given her parents a surprise by arriving four weeks early, which meant that they hadn’t had time to schedule their newborn shoot before she was born. They contacted me after she had arrived, and I’m so happy that we were able to find a date for the shoot the following week.
When I plan a newborn photo shoot with a family we will always have a discussion beforehand about the colours they would like me to use during their shoot. Because my style of photography is very natural I mostly use neutral colours, but also have some very soft pink blankets and wraps that some families like to use. This family opted for a soft palette of cream, grey and pink which I think worked beautifully together.
I always love being able to take a few photographs of new babies when they are awake, as well as all of the curled up sleepy poses. The awake photographs often end up being the most treasured for parents. When we started the shoot this baby girl hadn’t quite drifted off to sleep, so I was able to capture some awake shots first. The photograph you see of her above is one of my favourites from the shoot, and I’ve chosen a few more favourites from the shoot to share with you below.
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing some of my favourites from this photo shoot. You can find out more about booking a newborn photo shoot at my East Molesey studio here.
