Mini Christmas Photo Shoots In London
It’s that time of year when we start to think about Christmas and of course Christmas Mini Sessions!
Christmas mini session days are always a highlight of my year because lots of my clients come back year after year. It’s always wonderful to see how much they have changed and grown. And to see that some of the children who first came to the studio as babies are now chatty school children!
As I have Christmas on my mind I thought it was a lovely opportunity to share some of my favourite Christmas photographs from recent years, and to let you know more about how the sessions work.

What Are Christmas Mini Sessions?
A Christmas mini session is a short, Christmas-themed photo shoot for up to 3 children from one family.
On a Christmas mini session day I’ll photograph children from several families at pre-booked times. Each family’s session lasts up to 15 minutes, giving us plenty of time to capture some gorgeous Christmas memories.
The sessions include some digital images and personalised Christmas cards (more on both of these later) and are a perfect way to capture a few happy, Christmas memories each year. Lots of families bring their children back for a Christmas mini session each year, and it’s a lovely way to document them growing up!

London Christmas Photo Shoot Dates
Christmas Mini Sessions take place on selected dates in November, so that my lovely clients have their photographs and Christmas cards in good time to send them out in December.
Each year there will be some weekend and weekday sessions available – the weekends always book up quickly so it’s best to book as early as you can.
On a Christmas mini session day the studio is set up especially for Christmas sessions, and several families come at pre-booked time slots. Each session lasts 15 minutes – perfect for little attention spans – and in that time I take a variety of photographs of that family’s child or children on the Christmas set.

Where are the Christmas Sessions?
All of the Christmas mini sessions take place at my studio, which is on the London / Surrey border and close to Hampton Court.
The studio is warm, comfortable and has everything I need to safely photograph your baby or child and make sure you have a relaxed experience.
Most families choose to drive, and there’s free parking outside. The studio is also a short walk from Hampton Court station which is served by direct trains from London Waterloo, Vauxhall, Clapham Junction, Wimbledon and Surbiton.

What Should My Children Wear For The Christmas Photo Shoot?
Each year I choose a different theme for the Christmas photo shoots. When a family books their session I send them a session guide with tips for choosing outfits, and for coordinating outfits if they have more than one child.
