Book a back to school mini session and I’ll capture natural, relaxed portraits of your child in their school uniform. Photographs that capture their true personality without any awkward expressions, cheesy grins or stuffy, old fashioned backdrops.

Meet Your Photographer
Hello, I’m Clare.
I’ve been photographing children and babies for the last 8 years and am based close to Hampton Court, on the Surrey / London border.
I’m known for natural, relaxed photography without any cheesy props or awkward posing.
Over the years I’ve photographed hundreds of families and know just how to get the best from little people in a short amount of time.
I’m also a mum of two (my youngest is starting reception this year – big milestone!) so I know just how important it is to celebrate special moments like the start of the school year.
HOW DO BACK TO SCHOOL MINI SESSIONS WORK?
- Each back to school mini session lasts ten minutes and is suitable for one school-aged child. Extra school-aged siblings can be added for a small fee.
- The sessions are in an outdoor setting close to Hampton Court (KT8 postcode) and run on selected dates in late August and early September.
- You’ll bring your child(ren) to the shoot dressed in their school uniform and I’ll capture a variety of natural, relaxed school portraits.
- After the shoot you’ll be able to choose which images to include in your package. I’ll send these to you by digital download.
- You also have the option to order extra digital images and prints at this stage should you wish.

PRICING
A back to school mini session for one school-age child costs £59.
This includes a ten minute school portrait session and two high resolution digital images.
School-age siblings can be added for £20 each. This adds five minutes session time and one extra digital image to your package.
Extra digital images and prints are available to order after your session if you wish, but there’s no obligation to do so.

Back to school mini sessions are short and sweet portrait sessions for school aged children.
Think of them as an alternative to buying the school photographs taken at your child’s school.
Each session lasts 15 minutes and during that time I’ll take a variety of photographs your child(ren) in their school uniform.
After the session you’ll be able to choose which photographs to include in your package and I’ll send these to you as high resolution digital files.
At this point you can also order extra digital images or prints if you wish. But there’s no obligation to do so.

7 days after your session you’ll be able to view the final, edited images in a private, online gallery.
The gallery will be live for three full days whilst you choose which photographs to include in your package.
Once you’ve chosen your images, I’ll send them to you as high resolution digital files.
At this point you also have the option to order extra digital images and prints.
The mini sessions will take place outdoors in the Hampton Court area. I’ll send you a map with the meeting point around a week before your session.
If it rains your session will be rescheduled to exactly the same time on the following day – please make sure that you are free to attend on both days before you book.
Unfortunately I’m not able to accommodate reschedules for back to school mini sessions.
Your school aged children will be the focus of these sessions, but parents are welcome to jump into one of the photographs too.
I take your privacy very seriously, and will only publish pictures from your shoot in my online portfolios with your permission. If you do give permission the pictures are always shared anonymously (I would never share your or your children’s names.)
I will ask you about this when you book your session, and if you don’t want me to share the pictures from your session you can let me know then.
