Autumn Family Photo Shoots in Surrey

Back in October I spent a lovely autumnal morning photographing families at my outdoor mini sessions in Surrey. On a mini session day I'll usually meet three or four families through the morning, and spend time with them capturing a variety of different photographs; some of the whole family together, some of the children on their own, and some of each parent with their children.
We had a gloriously sunny morning for these photo shoots. There was also plenty of autumn colour on the trees and on the ground, which made a wonderful backdrop to the photographs.
I've put together some of my favourites from this mini session morning in this post, and I really hope they bring a smile to your face too!
As you'll see from the photographs, the families I photographed had children of varying ages; from young babies right up to school aged children.
Before your mini session I'll ask you all about your children and their personalities, so that I can get the best from them on the day, and tailor the shoot to them. At these autumn sessions one of the most popular things we did was throwing piles of autumn leaves around, as you can see below!
